Giraffe Tools SW5 Metal Hose Reel Box, 150 ft
The tested metal box — buy it from Giraffe, not from Amazon, if you want the warranty — Giraffe's crank-wound steel hose box with a 5 ft leader, listed for 150 ft of 5/8-inch hose. Bob Vila and The Spruce both picked it; Bob Vila got 150 ft in only by opening the box and rearranging the hose, and recommends 125 ft or less. Owners give it 4.0★ across 2,267, and Amazon.com is its only new seller — the one seller Giraffe's warranty excludes by name. Giraffe sells it direct at the same price.
