Pros
- The lowest cost to own of any full-size system here: the same $699 replacement cell as the RJ-45 Plus on a $1,095 system
- Matches the RJ-45 Plus on the numbers that make chlorine: 1.9 lb a day, rated to 45,000 gallons, so it is oversized for a typical pool the way every pro recommends
- CircuPool's manual has no online-purchase or DIY-install clause, the same as the RJ line
- Current second-generation model, in stock at CircuPool
Cons
- No independent owner base to check: it isn't sold on Amazon, and the only rating is CircuPool's own (4.8★ across 134 on its product page), which runs rosy by rule
- A 3-year prorated warranty against the RJ-45 Plus's 7 — after year 1 you pay 40% and then 60% of the part price, and nothing after year 3
- LED lights, not a display: you see a green or red salt light, never your salt number, so you need your own salt test
- CircuPool prints no cell life in hours for it (nor for any model now), so the cost math assumes the same five years as every other cell
