⚠ Safety watch — No CPSC recall exists for XtremepowerUS (database read 2026-08-26, 9,966 records) — this is an owner-report pattern, not a regulatory action. It is flagged because the failure owners describe, the upper tank shell separating from the lower under pressure, is the same hazard CPSC recalled 8,500 Sta-Rite System 2 and AquaTools filters for in 2004 (#04072). Treat any cartridge filter as a pressure vessel: stop the pump and bleed the air relief before opening the band clamp.
