Pros
- Tied for the fastest claim on this page (0.5 seconds, as the ThermoMonster M1 claims) with a NIST-certified ±0.5°F, the same accuracy figure as the Thermapen ONE
- A bright LED display owners can read in low light, auto-rotating, with a strong magnet

Cons
- No credentialed test of this model: the tests in circulation (Techlicious, 2023) are of the earlier InstaProbe, which Typhur no longer sells
- Its Amazon base mixes in that predecessor: reviews from June 2023 sit on a listing for a model Typhur created in 2024
- Critics report "E01" errors, a unit that "shuts off after taking 3 to 4 readings", and readings 10-15° high
- Owners say it breaks if dropped: "If this thing drops more than a foot, it will break."
Errors and fragility. "Malfunctioning E01 signal error code", "When it works, it shuts off after taking 3 to 4 readings", "it's routinely 10°-15° higher than the actual food temp", "Dies after 2 years", and three units that "all quit working after falling off pretty short counters".
