Rola-Chem Pool Sentry M-3000 Automatic Pool Filler
Most ratings: the leveler three roundups crown, with 14% of its ratings at one or two stars — The Pool Sentry M-3000 is a plastic deck unit you weigh down with gravel; its float valve turns the hose on as the water drops and off at the height you set, 2 to 8 inches below the deck (Rola-Chem). It carries the most ratings of any portable leveler, 4.2★ across 2,684, and three of the roundups we read name it best overall. The catch: 14% of those ratings sit at one or two stars, it has 378 written critical reviews, and the newest describe units that stopped shutting off after about a year and floats that would not hold their setting. On Amazon it is sold by a reseller, ExpressSupplyCo; Rola-Chem's one-year warranty says to call Rola-Chem, not the store.
