FibroPool P500 Sand Filter Tank (14–21 in., tank only)
The warranty that survives an online purchase — A bare sand filter tank in four diameters from 14 to 21 inches, sold by FibroPool's own storefront — which is the whole point. Every other legacy brand in this category gutted or voided its warranty the moment you bought online; FibroPool sells direct, so the warranty you read is the warranty you get. Its own listing states the pump match (up to 1.5 HP) instead of leaving you to guess.
Sold in several tank sizes on this listing (14–21 in). Check the size before you add to cart.

Pros
- Sold by FibroPool USA, so the manufacturer warranty actually applies to an online purchase — the only pick here that can say that
- Four diameters on one listing, starting at 14 in. ($179.95) — the smallest genuine tank in the category
- States the pump match (up to 1.5 HP) and salt-water compatibility on the listing, which most rivals do not
Cons
- 63 ratings pooled across all four diameters — early data by our own bar, and not a read of the size you buy
- Only four critical reviews are written, and the newest goes at the reason to pick it: one 2026 owner could not reach support at all ('numerous emails, called their phone... I cannot get no help')
- Instructions do not identify which port is inlet, flush and return — a category-wide problem, but you will meet it here
- 220 lb of sand for the 21 in. is not included, and is not a trivial cost
Arrives defective, incomplete or leaking: a top that leaked and emptied the pool, a unit missing its top valve that looked returned, and a 2026 tank that 'never worked right'. That 2026 owner also could not reach anyone ('numerous emails, called their phone'), which lands on the exact reason to choose this tank — its warranty.
3 of the 4 written critical reviews are a defective or incomplete unit; 13% of the 63 ratings are 1 or 2 stars (read signed-in 2026-10-25) · critical reviews read October 2026
“Had problems with the first valve received, and was instructed to return that valve for the replacement one. No problems with the replacement valve and worked very good. Happy to due business with the FibroPool company.”— paul wypior, Amazon · Verified owner
