Bon-Aire Original Ultimate Aluminum Hose Nozzle (HN-10AL)
The fireman-style twist grip: aluminum and stainless, built to be dropped and driven over — Bon-Aire's fireman-style nozzle: twist the grip to go from a jet to a wide rinse, and its two-way shut-off closes at either end. Its maker builds it from extruded aluminum, stainless steel, reinforced plastic and soft rubber. Owners give it 4.5★ across 5,784, and one says his is still "operating like new" after more than ten years. The catch is the spray: Wirecutter found it "particularly limited in spraying options", and 4 of its 10 newest critical reviews say it would not give a usable garden shower or enough pressure. Its warranty is printed two ways.

Pros
- A twist valve with a two-way shut-off, so it closes from full jet or full rinse without a trigger
- Aluminum, stainless steel and rubber: owners report it surviving drops, a car and, in one case, more than ten years
- TechGearLab tested a Bon-Aire Original Ultimate Aluminum and found it "still shows little to no signs of wear"
- A 3% two-star and 4% one-star share is low for a nozzle with moving seals
Cons
- Limited sprays: Wirecutter found it "particularly limited in spraying options, going only from a stream to a messy shower", and 4 of its 10 newest written critical reviews say it would not give a usable garden shower or enough pressure
- 3 of those 10 describe a nozzle that broke or leaked, one after three months
- The warranty is printed two ways: the maker's 2018 insert says lifetime limited, if you mail it back and pay its shipping and handling charge; the listing says 1 year
- No featured seller on the listing when we read it, and one owner warns it is not sold or shipped by Amazon, which made a return harder
- TechGearLab calls it clunky and its patterns unlabeled; it measured a 16.5 ft reach
