Orbit One Outlet Single-Dial Hose Faucet Timer (62056)
The digital alternative sold by Amazon itself: runs of up to 240 minutes, set at one dial — Orbit's single-dial digital timer: set how long (1 to 240 minutes), how often and when at one dial, with a manual run and a rain delay. Orbit's manual rates it for 25 to 100 psi, while Orbit's help centre lists it among hose timers rated 10 to 100. It is sold and shipped by Amazon.com, owners give it 4.4★ across 8,103 with 10% at one or two stars, and Bob Vila named it Best Ease of Operation. The catch: Orbit's manual says nothing about what the valve does when the batteries run low, its manual's 25 psi floor is the highest printed here, and its newest critical reviews describe timers dead within months and one "Shutoff Valve Failure" that left a yard flooded.

- Warranty is unclear: Orbit's warranty page says one year unless the packaging says otherwise, while Orbit's help centre lists hose-end timers at 6 years and the listing's warranty field reads "5"

“OK so over all the timers are pretty good and thank gosh that they have the brass connector on them. One thing that would be a major improvement is if they somehow put some sort of alarm of some sort to let you know that the magnets aren’t working so that way, cause you always have to have the water faucet on of course, and when the magnets quit working, then the water just flows through and you don’t usually find out until you get an alert that your have a leak in your house or something like that from the water department but overall I do like the product”— The Final Word, Amazon · Verified owner
Pro review “Overall, this hose timer is an excellent performer, but we didn’t love its digital screen. While the dial is large, the screen is on the small side, and it was challenging to see the readout in bright sunlight.”Hands-on test: Bob Vila tested 10 hose timers and named the Orbit 62056 One Outlet Single-Dial its Best Ease of Operation.
