Govee Outdoor String Lights 2 (RGBIC)
Best smart / color — The pick when you want more than warm white: 96 feet of RGBIC globes that set each bulb to its own color, 47 scene modes, music sync, and Alexa/Google/app control, all on Govee's mature smart-lighting platform. The trade-off is that color quality and app reliance drag the owner score below the warm-white commercial sets.

Pros
- Per-bulb RGBIC color, 47 scenes, and music sync — the only true color/smart pick here
- IP65-rated string AND control box, with Alexa/Google/app + scheduling
- Solid base for a smart product — 4.1★ across 1,914 ratings
Cons
- Not for you if you just want a warm café glow — the warm-white commercial sets look better and rate higher for that
- Leans on Wi-Fi + the Govee app; color accuracy is good, not perfect
- Lowest owner rating of the picks here (4.2) — the smart features add failure points
“They hooked up to Alexa without a hitch and now I feel like a wizard commanding them with my voice. I hung them outside and they light up my patio like a low-key disco—great colors, great vibe.”— B. Ferraro, Amazon · Verified owner
