- Burns wood or pellets, and the ash pan is part of it rather than an accessory
Cons
- Six of ten critical cards say plainly that it is not smokeless — the highest share of any product on this page
- Owners report it eats fuel and needs constant tending to stay lit
- Sold by a third-party seller, not Amazon and not East Oak — so no live price, no maker photo, and the buy box can move
- Stock read "Only 1 left" on 2026-09-07, down from two the day before
It is not smokeless — six of ten critical cards say so outright, the bluntest statement of it in the category. Burning through fuel fast and needing constant tending is the second theme.

✓ Safety: no active recall — No CPSC recall found for East Oak (CPSC API checked 2026-09-07, zero records, positive-controlled against a 181-record query in the same session). A tabletop wood or pellet burner is not the ethanol/liquid-fuel "flame-jetting" hazard behind the 2025-26 tabletop fire-pit recalls. Use the stand, keep it off anything combustible, and never move it lit.
