Pros
- 2,060 owner ratings — the only in-ground leaf net with a base worth quoting
- Cheapest per square foot of anything in this roundup
- Wide and long enough that owners work around a delivered rip rather than returning it
Cons
- Owners report the pictured METAL grommets arriving as flexible plastic triangles with holes
- Same sizing shortfall as the round version — an 18x40 measuring 'BARELY 40'
- Several tears by year three is the common lifespan report, and returns are at the buyer's shipping cost
Two themes. Sizing, as on the round version — 'we ordered the 18x40 as it states it's 22x40… the cover is BARELY 40'. And a listing-versus-product mismatch specific to this SKU: 'there are no metal grommets as pictured, but instead flexible plastic triangles with holes'. Material is called flimsy, with tears by the third season and buyer-paid return shipping.
2 of the first 6 critical cards are sizing; 1 is the grommet mismatch; 2 are material quality · critical reviews read August 2026
