Filtration is rated in microns (µm — millionths of a meter): the smallest particle the filter reliably traps, so a lower number is a finer filter. A human hair is ~70 µm; ultra-fine (~3–10 µm) catches the silt and dead algae that make water hazy. "µm not published" means the maker states no number — which is information in itself.

✓ Safety: no active recall — No active CPSC recall found on the Scuba X1 (checked July 2026). In fairness: Aiper has issued lithium-battery recalls on EARLIER models (the Elite Pro in 2023 and the Seagull Pro in 2025) — the X1 is a separate current model not named in either. Register the unit for any future safety notice and charge any cordless robot somewhere sensible. Battery is sealed with no replacement pack sold.
